SIG4LRN – Versatile Modbus Data Acquisition and Cloud Communication Device
The SMART IoT GATEWAY (SIG) is a versatile device designed to read the Modbus memory map of any RS-485 Modbus protocol device and securely send the data to a cloud server. This data can be visualized on a dashboard, offering a reliable and scalable IoT solution. SIG primarily consists of a GSM module and a Microcontroller-based control circuit. It supports generic Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP/IP, and Modbus over TCP/IP protocols for data acquisitions and uses MQTT protocol to communicate with IT applications on the cloud. SIG is highly scalable and can configure multiple slave devices to remotely monitor industrial sensor data.
